Put a Plastic Bag over Toronto City Hall

Once again, Toronto City Hall has reached a new level of stupidity.  The vote to ban plastic bags is unbelievable and counter productive.  Now dog owners will have no way to pick up after their dogs, so they will end up leaving it on the lawns and in the parks of the city.  Since when has a prohobition of anything done any good.  The US had Joey Volstead who banned booze in 1919 and Toronto has Davey Shiner who banned bags in 2012.  Unbelievable.  I guess it is time for Bootleg Bags Inc.

Lefties have only one basic problem.  They fail to realize that for every cause there is an effect.  Some examples are adding Ethanol to gasoline was supposed to cut pollution.  Instead the massive diversion of corn for the production has caused massive price increases in the price of corn.  This has resulted in major suffering by the peasants of the world who rely on corn for their daily food.  Cash for Clunkers was a similar program, people got money for trading their old cars in, so that they would buy new cars.  Only problem, demand for cars is not elastic.  If you buy one today, you will not buy one tomorrow.  So low and behold, after Cash for Clunkers ended, new car sales fell.
